Combines well with nettles or heartsease for skin problems; with Echinacea and marigold for lymphatic and immune system problems; and with dandelion leaf as a diuretic tea.
Directions for Use
One to two teaspoons to one cup of boiling water. Brew for 10 minutes. Strain. Drink up to three cups daily.
Notes on the Herb
This humble plant is a valuable cleansing herb, particularly for the lymphatic system. It may be taken for swollen lymph nodes, skin problems and for its diuretic action. Research indicates it may also lower blood pressure. Suitable for children.
